Pilates for All with Miki Mon 5:30pm

Service Description

Join Miki for a LIVE online Pilates class via zoom or receive this class recording for 48 hours to complete at your leisure. If you have not done so already, please complete the online Registration Form prior to completing the class. Miki (Micaela) has a Doctorate in Chemistry (Sardinia, Italy) and MSc at Cambridge University but found her true vocation in helping people recover from injury and postural deficiencies through exercise. Having had a successful sporting background herself including a third dan black belt in Judo, she has qualifications in Pilates, Yoga, Activation and Massage. Miki has been teaching Pilates since 2003 and is a recognised Level 4 instructor. All you will need is some floor space, a small towel or cushion to use as a head support, a mat (if you have one) and a device to stream your live class. If possible, it is a good idea to have a mirror set up so you can check your technique and form. Miki may not be able to see you during this class, therefore it is important that you work to your own strength and ability. If you are new to Pilates, watch the first few repetitions then join in when you feel comfortable to do so. When participating in any exercise there is a risk of physical injury. By attending this online class, you are accepting that you are participating voluntarily and assume all risk of injury to yourself. If you are pregnant, post natal or have any condition such as (but not limited to) osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, any joint condition and would like to discuss anything before the class then please email and Miki will get in touch.
